On June 20th 2009 two of our team members got married, congratulationd to Mrs louise and Mr Dave Claybrook. What a wonderful wedding, it was a honour to be asked to share it with you both. I scrubbed up so well the bride did not recognise me.
Congratulations are in order again we have had another team baby, Karen and Liam now have a lovely baby boy called Logan. Logan was born on Monday 15th June.
Big congratulations, go out to Doug and Jackie, there baby daughter Megan was born today 2nd May at 1.19am, she has blonde hair and blue eyes just like her mum and weighs 7lb 5oz.
Congratulations to Liz and Brandy, Daisy May and Nichola, Cai and Nia, Panda and Andrea. They all took their Kennel Club Good Citzen Bronze test last night (23 March 09) and passed, congratulations.

On 13th Sept we held our last beach walk and fish & chip supper of the year. We were very lucky that the rain held off but we were eating in the dark, next year we must remeber to take candles, there were 16 of us in total and 16 dogs.
Happy 1st birthday to Tally, on Sunday 25thbn June, for those of you that missed training Brenda bought a lovely chocolate cake.
Congratulations go out to Selens Hood and Carleigh who passed there good citizen bronze test on Monday 12th May. Well done to you both.
The team would also like to give a big warm welcome to Karen and her sister Daneile Nichols and all thier dogs Max, Scruffy, Nugget and Genghis who have just joined us from the Pods team. We hope that you all will be very happy with us and enjoy the racing.
Two of the team members had some fantastic results at Pengwern companion dog show on the 5th May. Well done to Lorraine Walsh and our Freddie, Freddie won the obediance class. Susanne Roberts and Molly also had a great day, coming 1st in the fun round and gaing four other places in more classes.
On Wednesday 4th June we will be holding our first sociol get together a walk on Pensarn beach with the dogs followed by a fish and chip supper. We will be meeting in the carpark at 7pm. Please let me know if you would like to come along.
Thursday 29th May will see the start of our summer training evenings. Training will start at 7pm.
On Sun 6th April we start a new starters course and already have several people booked on to it.
Roxanne, Steve and myself went to CRUFTS today Sat 9th March. Roxanne was entered into 4 classes and was placed in three of them, we are so proud of her. She received 2x VHC (5th) and a Res (4th).
Well done to Freddie and Lorraine Walsh. Freddie passed his kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme Bronze award on Wednesday 20th Feb, he was very well behaved.
Monday 30th October Susanne and Molly passed the kC GSDS silver test. Roxanne also passed the silver test and Cassie took the Silver and Bronze and passed them both.
On Thursday 25th October Roxanne qualifed for Crufts with a 3RD place in YB at Midland Counties Champ Show.
Cassie came 3rd in the BC puppy class at the North West BC Club Champ show on 21st October at the same show Roxanne received VHC in the YB, 3RD in Novice and VHC in PG.
Susanne's Molly came 2nd in the Weekly News pet Idle competition and has won £50 of vouchers. Well done Molly.
On the 14th October I passed the Kennel Club GSDS examiner assesment, and I am qualifed to examine the Bronze test.
At Llandudno Canine Socioty open show Roxanne came 4th in B.C yearling and 2nd in B.C. open. Cassie came 3rd in pastoral puppy and 2nd in A.V. minor puppy.
Roxanne came 4th in the yearling bitch class and V.H.C in the graduate bitch class at the City of Birminghan Championship dog show on Sat 1st sept 07.
Sunday 19th August was Jenni's last training session with us before moving back to Canada. You will be pleased to know we have not got rid of her completly she will be back for the Pods summer week next year.
Saturday 18th August Roxanne entered the welsh kennel club of wales championship dog show and was placed 2nd in graduate bitch, and V.H.C in yearling bitch and novice bitch, we are very pleased with her results as she is completly out of coat.
On Sunday Roxanne entered the Border Collie Club of Wales open show, she came 3rd in Yearling bitch, 3rd in Graduate bitch and 4th in post graduate bitch.
Freddie (Tally) came first in the beginers obediance at Dyserth A.A Rescue Show on Sat 15th July and Roxanne came first on the mini agility fun round.
On Tue 5th June Heather Hewitt with Domino and Susanne Roberts with Molly both took The Kennel Club Good Citizen Bronze Test and passed. Well done to you both from all at Valley flyball. (I know that you both had to work very hard on 2 differant aspects of the test).
At Pengwern Companion Dog show on 2nd June , Jenni and Brownie came 6th in junior handleing, Susanne and Molly came 4th in the best six legs ( I do not know how she managed this as she was wearing trousers!!!!) Roxanne came 6th in A.V pastoral and 5th in A.V open.
At the welsh northen counties & colwyn canine club open show on 26th May Roxanne came 1st in Border Collie graduate, 1st in A.V Pastoral, 1st in A.V Speacail yearling and 2nd in Border Collie junior.
Jenni and Brownie came third in the dog most like owner at Bryn y Maen companion dog show on 20th May. Carey and Arfur came 2nd in the best puppy.
Roxanne entered The National Dog Show (championship show) at Stoke on 10th May, and came Fourth in the Graduate Bitch class.
