VALLEY STARTERS = Dodge, Penfold, Piper, and Zoot
Gosh we had some exciting racing!
It was Penfolds first time in competition, Zoot, Kim, and Dodge had raced once before and Piper twice. It was Carey the boxloaders first time in competition so there were nerves all around.
The dogs worked really well as a team with some superb changes, better than I would of expected for there level of experience. The handler's lane discipline was excellent and everyone worked really well as a tea, with only a few errors from both handlers and dogs wich were soon rectified.
It was great to see the other Valley Teams cheering for the starters and getting excited about the racing, this really spurred them on to come 2nd with a best time of 24.12 seconds.
For those of you that do not know, Emma Penfolds owner has gone to America for 2 years. So at the moment he is living with his grandma Pam. So we are pleased to say well done to you both and 'Pam we hope that rosette is in the post to Emma in America.' Emma he was a star and never put one paw wrong you would of been proud of him.

HOUND DOGS = Bodie, Tumble, Tj, Tigger, and Bessie.
There were two new additions to this team, Bessie who had graduated from starters, and ran superbly not putting a paw wrong and Diane who did a fantastic job boxloading in her first competition.
Things wern't looking good for the Hound Dogs after loosing the first 2 legs of ther first race to lights, they pulled together and started to work as a team, and won the following three legs and the race. After that there seemed to be no stopping them winning the next two sets of races 3-1 and 3-0 only loosing to Podlings on the last race after getting a light. They finished in 2nd place with a best time of 24.67 seconds.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
HOT DOGS = Flynn, Liffy, Daniel and Taffy
Penny the boxloader well done we did notice you never dropped a single ball.
It was the second time thease dogs had raced together, and it was nice to see they have jelled together as a team producing there best ever time of 20.84 seconds and some excellent team work.
The Hot Dogs lost there first race 3-0 to Wires Alive, who were simply a much faster team. Then went on to win all there races 3-0 apart from loosing one leg of there last race to a light for a bad change. Final position 2nd with a best time of 20.84.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I would just like to finish by saying thankyou again to everyone for your support and pulling together making what could of been a very long difficult day run smoothly and be enjoyable. I would also like to say thankyou to Ian for doing a wonderful job with the clipboard we would be lost without you.
Congratulations to Diane and Flynn, who recieved his Flyball Dog Award.
